At TheatreWorks Performing Arts, we are dedicated to providing our students with a high-energy dance experience that is both challenging and rewarding.
Alongside our Ballet, Tap, Modern and other technical dance classes we offer Street Dance Classes to students age nine and above. This style incorporates accented beats, syncopated rhythms, and sharp contractions of the body, creating a unique and dynamic form of movement.
Our experienced teacher guides our students through the different layers of music production to help them develop a strong relationship between their movements and the music, resulting in expressive and impactful dance.

Phoebe, our resident street dance teacher at TheatreWorks trained at the prestigious Addict Dance Academy in Leicester where she developed an excellent knowledge and skill set for Commercial and Street Dance. Our students adore their weekly classes with Phoebe as she passes on her love, passion and knowledge of this style of dance whilst developing our students stamina, skill set and style.
